Protecting biodiversity is essential in combating climate change，and developing the next generation’s interest and knowledge in the field of environmental protection is of equal importance. As a company attaching great importance on social responsibility, in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy, NWS initiated HBITAT HEROS, a biodiversity-themed programme which aims to increase our young generation’s environmental literacy of green and blue assets of Hong Kong’s environment.  

In June, volunteers from of NWS and participants of the EXP Journey programme gathered at Pak Nai and Kon Pak Stream to carry out environmental fieldwork, ranging from water sampling and to wildlife observation. Under the burning sun, participants have experienced the effort and dedication required for environmental protection, and their journey at the fields ended on a high note with sweat and laughter.
