To experience something in person is always better than seeing and learning online.

This July, NWS EXP Journey organized a tour for teachers and students from Buddhist Yip Kei Nam Memorial College. They were invited to visit the ATL Logistic Centre Hong Kong (ATL), built and managed by NWS Holdings, and to explore the mysterious inner sanctum of this huge building.

The Centre is the world’s largest multi-level industrial building and EXP student members got the chance to dive into the hustle and bustle of cargo handling and warehouse operations. Simon Chow, General Manager of ATL, also shared the management skills involved in logistics with the participants. Moreover, they had a great time enjoying the recreational facilities at the Centre.

Reflecting on the trip, the EXP students said that it had broadened their horizons. They were able to learn more about the industry and at the same time witnessed the benefits and convenience brought to society by technological advancements.
